About EPOS

John Dexter established EPOS in 2005 to provide project management consultancy and contracting expertise for companies embarking on organizational or cultural change initiatives.

Although relatively new to the project management consultancy industry, EPOS has quickly established a first-class reputation for providing guidance and support for its clients; helping organizations large and small through the difficult challenges that they face. The Company's focus is always on nurturing and developing its client's own abilities rather than fostering dependence on consultants! EPOS is proud of its track record of identifying, developing and coaching its client's internal staff to take on future challenges with confidence.

EPOS is based in north Wales but assignments take us all over the United Kingdom.

John Dexter MSc MAPM

John Dexter, the owner and lead consultant of EPOS, is an experienced and highly qualified project manager with extensive organisational change management experience. He has recently been awarded a Masters of Science degree in project management (with distinction) from the University of Aberdeen and holds APM Practitioner, APM Professional and PRINCE2 Practitioner qualifications. John also enjoys the status of full member of the Association for Project Management.

Originally trained as an electronics engineer in the armed services, John's subsequent career has been largely based in the timber and building materials distribution industry, both as an operator and (for the last decade or so) as a project manager, giving him a wide appreciation of change management techniques as well as the commercial acumen to appreciate the business rationale for change. Despite this extensive experience in distribution, he has also worked in the utilities, hostelry and SME sectors in recent years.
